Shaft-Mounted Air Chuck
Tidland Air Chucks are economical and lightweight. They have a unique design which allows for their use in a wide variety of applications; adapting from smaller shafts to larger cores is one of the most popular uses in rewind environments. Tidland Air Chucks are easy to use. They eliminate the use of wedges, hammers and spanner wrenches, and do not distort or damage the core. The simplicity of design assures long trouble free operation. You’ll find the air expanding principle gives fast positive holding with inflation and positive collapse with deflation. Tidland air chucks grip a wide area of the inside wall of the core with a firm, even pressure that prevents slippage and increases core life. They are lightweight yet durable construction. The chucks consist of two basic parts - a metal body and an elastomeric air expanding element or tire. The metal parts are cast in tough, durable and lightweight aluminum alloy. The elastomeric elements are made of unique compounds with a permanently molded-in valve fitting. The special compounds have been selected for their hard-wearing, long-lasting qualities and overall durability. Key Features:
