Applications of AirKnife
ELEKTROR AirKnives create a laminar static air curtain flow and are ideally suited for drying, cooling or air cleaning of a wide range of products and components. AirKnives are particularly well suited for applications with wide conveying routes. They are ideal for centrifugal fans and side channel blowers.
Sample applications:
Drying: the removal of water or residual moisture from cans, bottles etc. in food industries

Features/Notes of AirKnife
- Air Knives are made of stainless steel
- The slot width of the nozzle is adjustable between 1 mm and 10 mm
- The number of connections depends on the required air speed at the nozzle, the slotwidth and the length of the AirKnife
- We recommend two connections starting from a length of 600 mm
- Individual slot lengths available on request
- Additional charge for second connection on request

The only parts that have to be acquired as options are those relating to individual installation situations, with the scope and quantity to be determined separately for each case. Needless to say, ELEKTROR AirKnife types and industrial fans are perfectly adapted to each other. The maximum pressure increase in the Air Knife should not exceed 350 mbar. The device can be installed in different ways. The AirKnife is ATEX fans certified as long as the fan that is installed is also ATEX certified.
